Nessa!

Our previous foster dog, McBride, was adopted and she is doing great in her new home. That freed up a spot at the Hound Hotel and our newest foster dog, Nessa, has arrived. Nessa is a seven year old female that has been returned to us due to no fault of her own. Her previous home had two cats and a small dog, and Nessa isn't small animal safe. They tried to make it work for a very long time because Nessa is such a good hound, but finally had to bring her back. She is completely housetrained and used to living in a home. She didn't know how to do the stairs when she came here yesterday, but has already learned how to go up the stairs by herself, and down the stairs with just a little help. I suspect that by later today the stairs will no longer be a problem at all for her. She is a very affectionate girl who wags her tail all the time. She slept quietly through the night last night in our room with us and the resident hounds. I don't think we will have any trouble with her at all. If you would like to meet Nessa, please contact Denise Davis at Greyhound Rescue Inc.
