Getting Ready!

It has been a few weeks since the Hound Hotel has had a guest. Our last guest, Charger, checked out in early April and is happy in his new home with his new family. Our next guest arrives on Thursday and foster mom and dad are busy getting ready. The doggy beds have been fluffed, the yard has been mowed, and mom and dad went to the gym. Foster dad was training on the stairclimber, getting ready to carry the new foster greyhound up and down the stairs. We always end up having to do that until the new dog learns to go up and down herself. We don't know what dog Aunt Denise is sending, only that it is a girl. We can't wait to meet the new foster and we will be taking her to our meet and greet at PetSmart in Glen Burnie on Saturday, May 3rd, from 11-2. The address is posted on the Greyhound Rescue Inc website. That will be her grand debut where she will meet the public. We hope to see everyone there! We will post photos and a bio of the new foster greyhound once she arrives. We are looking forward to it!

Charger-Adopted!!!

It has been a busy day at the Hound Hotel. Charger checked out after only one night at the hotel and has gone to his new home. His new family came to meet him this morning and adopted him right away. Hounds like Charger are rare and don't last long at the hotel. His foster family was secretly hoping that nobody would be interested in him for at least a few weeks so we could spend some time with him and play with him, but that didn't happen. Charger has gone to a terrific new home and we wish him only the best. Happy trails Charger!

Charger has arrived!!

Charger, our newest old foster dog has arrived back at the Hound Hotel. Charger is a dog that we fostered a year ago that has been returned to us due to alergies in his adoptive family. Charger is one of the most fantastic foster dogs we have ever had. He is an absolutely beautiful, well behaved greyhound that just needs a forever home. We don't think that will take long as greyhounds like Charger are hard to find. He is completely house trained, fantastic with children, and an all around fabulous greyhound. His foster family would keep him if they could! just check out the photo of this wonderful greyhound and see if you don't love him as much as his foster family does.
