Rooftop Wilma-Just Chilling

Rooftop Wilma has been at the Hound Hotel for nearly two weeks now and she continues to make a lot of progress. She has learned most of the rules of the road of being a retired greyhound, and she is a lot of fun to have around the house. Wilma keeps us laughing all the time and she will have you laughing too, so if you like to go around with a frown on your face all the time, don't adopt this dog. If you have a sense of humor and want a greyhound to share that with you, then Wilma just may be your dog. Wilma is an active, young, and curious greyhound so she would like you to take her on nice walks so she can check out the whole world. There is a lot for her to see and she would like to see it all. Wilma-Look into my eyes

Look into Wilma's eyes and tell me that you don't think she is precious. Just try. Wilma is precious and her foster family just loves her. Wilma has been in greyhound boot camp here for a week now and what a difference a week makes. She is settling in very nicely and is such a pleasure to have around. She has learned that she needs to do her business outside, and she has the daily routine down quite well. She gets along very well with the resident greyhounds and is such a friendly and playful girl. She does still have some separation anxiety issues, although they seem to be a little less each day, so we would prefer to place her in a home that already has a greyhound. That way she will always have a buddy around to keep her company. Do you have a Fred to go with our Wilma? Would you like to have the cutest dog in your neighborhood? Wee little Wilma

Wee little Wilma, as we like to call her, has been with us for almost a week now, and we are loving her more each and every day. She is a spunky little girl with an attitude, and we like that. She has learned a lot since she has been here and is getting ready for prime time. We don't think she is fully housebroken yet, but she is getting close. She has already figured out that couches are more comfy then doggy beds, and she likes to sneak behind us and lay on the couch when we aren't looking. Wilma is such a friendly little girl and she makes us laugh all the time with her antics. She needs a family with a sense of humor and a family that can appreciate her personality. If you adopt her, she will try to take over your couch. You may end up sitting on the floor! But in exchange, she will give you lots of love and let you know that she really loves you and your couch. Wee Wilma

Wilma has been with us for three days now and is starting to learn the ropes. She is a young one so she will take a little longer then our typical foster dog to learn the routine. She still has plenty of puppy in her and it shows. If you have a counter, she will surf it. If you have a fridge, she will try to raid it. Her curiosity knows few bounds at this point, and she is hilarious. While she does sleep a lot like any greyhound, she is not ready to be a complete couch potato. If you are looking for a sedentary greyhound, then this is not your dog. If you would like a more active dog with some puppy in her, then Wilma may be for you. She is a small greyhound, but don't let her size fool you. Dennis the Menace was small too. Wilma is showing some separation anxiety and she may be better off with another greyhound to keep her company while her family is out of the house. She also does not tolerate the crate so baby gates are a better option. Wilma is a very friendly greyhound who rarely leaves my side when I am home and she loves lots of pets. Lonesome Joanie-Adopted!!

It didn't take long for Joanie to find a new home. Her new dad came today and adopted her on the spot. Joanie will have a new greyhound brother at home and should live out her life in luxury. We couldn't be happier, although we had hoped Joanie could stay a little longer. Happy trails Joanie, and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Lonesome Joanie

Lonesome Joanie has been returned to us today. Joanie didn't do anything wrong, it is just that her family didn't have enough time for her. Joanie is a sweetheart of a greyhound that is friendly with everyone and is so pleasant to have around. She is great with kids of all ages and should be no problem with small animals and cats. Joanie won't be lonely here as we have a house full of hounds for her to play with and plenty of soft beds for her to sleep on. Rooftop Wilma

Rooftop Wilma has arrived at the Hound Hotel. Wilma has been returned to us after being in a home for only a week. It seems that it wasn't quite the right fit for her. Wilma is almost two years old and she is a very happy and playful greyhound. She still has a little puppy in her at this point. She is a small girl with the cutest face you will ever see, and she has foster dad wrapped around her little finger already. She has a little bit of an attitude to go with her looks too, so she must know she is really cute. She is already wagging her tail and making herself at home here. Foster dad loves this dog and wishes he could keep her. Wilma is going to be a really fun dog to have around the house, and this will be a fun fostering job.
